Seasonal structure
Verdú accumulated 167.7 mm before the 18 September harvest and 168.5 mm by 26 September. The largest daily event was 23.8 mm on 12 July. The station recorded a 30-day dry spell, 82 heat days at or above 30 C before 18 September, and 34 days at or above 35 C. Extending the season to 26 September added only 0.8 mm rain and increased GDD10 from 1980.9 to 2041.0 C-days. The 30 days before the later harvest were especially dry: 5.4 mm, with a 29-day dry spell.
Vilobí accumulated 197.0 mm by 21 September. Rainfall was concentrated in a 75.4 mm event on 12 July; the seasonal dry spell nevertheless reached 52 days. The 30 days before harvest received 39.9 mm, including 22.6 mm on 9 September. Vilobí was more humid than Verdú, particularly at night (84.5% versus about 74.4%), and had fewer heat extremes: 54 days at or above 30 C and 8 days at or above 35 C.

High-solar days are days with measured global irradiation at least 65% of daily extraterrestrial irradiation. This is a reproducible high-solar/clear-sky classification, not a measurement of sunshine-duration hours.
Interpretation
The station observations indicate a warmer, more heat-exposed Verdú season and a more humid Vilobí season with substantially greater rainfall immediately before harvest. These are climatic exposures, not measurements of berry composition or wine quality. The skill correctly leaves sugar/Brix unavailable: a numerical estimate requires repeated field Brix measurements and a validated field-specific model that also represents yield, canopy, soil and water status.
Coverage is 99.9% of expected hourly slots in every harvest-bounded analysis. Verdú uses Tàrrega XEMA (C7, approximately 6.2 km from the municipality point); Vilobí uses Vilafranca del Penedès - la Granada XEMA (W4, approximately 3.4 km). Coordinates are municipality-level rather than parcel-level, so local topographic and vineyard microclimate differences remain unresolved.
