A case example of treating erinosis solely using vermicompost tea. Vermicompost tea refers to a liquid fertilizer made from worm castings (excrement) and water. Oxygenated vermicast foliar spray sprayed 2-3 times per month since March makes the difference in erinosis disease in venyards in France.
One can also notice straw mulching in the soil of the treated vines, while in the untreated vines do not have them.
Prevention is also important in controlling erinosis. This can be achieved by practicing good sanitation, such as removing weeds and debris from around the plants, and by using disease-resistant plant varieties.
